Bilborough (NG8)'s a large estate west of the city, mostly built in the post-war boom. The housing is a mix of terraces, semis, and low-rise flats, much of it council-owned or ex-council. Plumbing here tends to be functional but aging,we're called out for blocked drains, leaking taps, and boilers that have seen better days.
The terraces around Bracebridge Drive and Wigman Road often have shared drains that clog easily, people still flush wet wipes and cooking fat down sinks, despite the warnings. We've jetted and cleared hundreds of metres of drains in Bilborough. The heating systems are often tired, ancient back boilers, inefficient storage heaters in some flats, and radiators that need bleeding every winter. Tree roots from the green spaces cause seasonal drainage issues, especially around Bilborough College.
Bilborough's on our regular patch,we're out there most weeks. Same-day slots are usually available for emergencies like burst pipes or total heating failures. Routine jobs like tap repairs and radiator bleeds get booked within a day or two. We'll send either one of our employed plumbers or an approved subcontractor, all held to the same standards.
