Carlton (NG4)'s a sprawling suburb with everything from Victorian workers' cottages to modern estates, stretching from Carlton Hill down to Gedling. Plumbing problems here vary,older properties have aging pipes and drains, while newer builds mostly need routine fixes like tap washers and radiator bleeds.
The older terraces around Carlton Hill and Burton Road often have outdated drainage,clay pipes that crack, shared drains between properties, and the occasional collapsed section that needs excavation. We've relined quite a few drains here to avoid digging up front gardens. The 1960s semis around Cavendish Road tend to have corroded copper pipes and tired heating systems. Out towards Gedling, the newer estates are generally fine, but we still get calls for leaking showers and faulty toilet fill valves.
